Lizard- represents nature;
Flower- represents the blessings of the Enchanted World toward the Spirit of the Deer;
Dots- represents our relatives that have gone to the flower world (Heaven);
Cross- represents the Creator, the Father and Son and four direction;
Triangles (around the mask)- represents father sun & beam of life towards nature and the beauty of life;
Triangles (under eyes)- represents tear drops of our people who we lost in battles and raindrops;
Black- represents death that everyone goes through,
White- represents the candle lighting of human life, also Christ's robe for dying to bring us life;
Red- represents the blood of Christ and bloodshed in the Yaquis & Mexican Revolution;
Hummingbird- represents the Yoeme culture, the hummingbird is considered to be a spiritual bird that comes from the "Sewa Ania" Flower World that is a messager with powerful blessing and protection.
Swirls (above eyes)- represents the wind;
Butterflies -represents the nature;
Half circle (around the masks outer edge) -represents the moon;
